More of Jaden's B day... oops

Here is Jaden and his new bike.

 Brinn and one of her faces playing with some of Jaden's new toys.

 Jaden got the black dragon, "Toothless' from one of his favorite movies.

 Jaden got a Nerf machine gun which at times got taken over by Jason.

 Marissa, one of Jaden's instructors, dropped by to wish Jaden a happy Birthday.

 By now I think Jaden has blown out three different  sets of candles...He has loved every minute of it.

Jaden's 5th Birthday

So Jaden's Birthday celebration started with a bird-of-prey attack in our back yard. It was neat to see.

To celebrate Jaden's birthday we went to Lagoon with our family and cousins.
Brinn loved the bumper cars even though she only went in circles.

Here is a ride that I think was called "Blurppy, Bulgy or Blummpy the whale" I can't remember but I remembered that it reminded me of one of my many childhood names.

What sane adult wouldn't let their post baby fly a helicopter by themselves? Okay, maybe they were being supervised by a pimply teen.

Who doesn't love swings that swing you in circles while being swung in a circle.

Jaden and Brinn's first joy ride in a "stolen" car. Okay it was Lagoon that did the stealing.

The day wouldn't be complete without a leisure boat ride.

Carousels always bring the kid out of us...or at least it tries. ( I love you Arien.)

We ended our day with shooting aliens and cousins and then opening presents while pretending to eat the cupcakes I left at home.

Once we got home we sang Happy Birthday and ate our cupcakes.

Brinn's hair cut

Here is Brinn's hair long. It was great for doing her hair up and styled but I thought it would be so cute cut short.

Catching up ..still.

I was upstairs when I hear " Help. Mommy, Help. I'm stuck." It took me a closer look to realize how she was stuck and it took me a while to stop laughing and finally help her.

recent finished project

Okay so I saw this chair posted online for $30 and it definitely had potential even with a chunk of wood missing out of the arm.

 You can see the chunk that is missing on the right arm a little better.

 This was the finished product of late nights and long naps when the kids were preoccupied with sleep.

 Chunk in arm is gone. It was easy to fix.

Umm....our Christmas!

 We went to the zoo on Christmas Eve and had the whole zoo to ourselves.

 Surprisingly all the animals were up and active.

 It was fun to see the giraffes eat Christmas trees.
