First Day of Preschool

Yes, I know. This post is a little late. Jaden has been in preschool for three weeks but this was him on his first day. I was nervous for him. I thought I had a couple more years before I would see this day, but with autism we needed to act fast to get him help he needed.

With much searching and inquiries we found a preschool we were impressed with and it was one we could afford if we just ate bread and water rather than starving and living in a tent. Jaden has said a new word today after we were playing with Grandma's train all day. "GO! GO! GO! " and doing the sign language for it. I was so excited. Jaden was smothered with hugs and kisses.

Jaden loves his teacher and is starting PEC therapy along with listening therapy. I'm starting a new blog to post all that we are going through with Jaden's autism. I'm doing this so that those of you who need to hear a voice to commiserate with has one. I'm not including it in this blog because this is the Rogers' family blog not Jaden's. The address is http://achesofautism.blogspot.com/. Life has been very busy so blogging has been put to the side for a bit. Jaden loves to wear his new backpack. He thinks it is the coolest thing. Maybe I should use him as my purse if he is willing to carry my stuff.
