Guess who's two?...a month ago--again, sorry

It is sad when I have to begin each blog with an apology but I will...and, I'm sorry.

Things have been so crazy around here and the blogging thing was put on the back burner.
But on the 25th of Oct. Brinn turned 2! I can't believe she's not a baby anymore and I miss it. It is sad to see your youngest grow up and that you'll never see that stage again. So the Saturday before Brinn's birthday we did trick-or-treating at the zoo.

So our little skeleton and pumpkin got some yummy candy in before they started their even more restrictive diets the following Monday. We saw tons of baby animals at the zoo. We saw baby elephants, (3) baby tigers, snow leopards, monkeys, orangutan, giraffe, sphinx, and humans.

Jaden and Brinn love playing with the huge marble ball that sits on water. It may even be their favorite thing at the zoo.

That Sunday the 25th we got the family together and celebrated with butterfly cupcakes. Boy, was that a project to make!

Surprisingly, Brinn knew how to open presents. She tore through the paper and emptied bags like a pro. It was hilarious to watch here expressions as she finally found what was inside. It was usually accompanied by a "Oooooo, Yeah!"
