It is interesting how when the dust settles from the last hurdle you just got over another one is right in front of you. Even though you are tired and drained from the last effort made, you know you have no choice but to muster up what energy and endurance you have left and make your way over the next hurdle in this race.

Our little Jaden has always been our "little man". He has always had a special place in our heart. He had a rough beginning coming into this world with pyloric stenosis but was surrounded with love.

Jason and I have always scratched our heads when trying to figure out why Jaden does or doesn't do things. I have been told "he is just two" or from our last visit to the doctor that " he is just being a stinker". But I knew there had to be something; those explanations didn't ease my concern or answer my questions.

I just got back from the doctors and my
suspicions were confirmed that
Jaden is autistic. Both Jason and I are heartbroken but are eager to do what is necessary for
Jaden to have as normal of a life as possible. We love him and are willing to work hard as his advocate to make sure he gets all the help that is available.

We love you
Jaden.

We do love you Jaden...our favorite little guy.
We know from Gavin that this definitely doesn't define someone but helps to understand. We love you guys!
Like i said before Jaden is amazing and nothing can change that. We send our love and would be glad to babysit anytime...Spencer thinks he is the baddest raddest kid which is a good thing. Oh no worries, he can take that cookie.. and look so sweet doing it.
We all love Jaden so much. You guys are such amazing parents, nothing will change that!

Jenny, I found you through Arien's blog. Your family is darling. I hope we can all catch up in person sometime. Maybe at the next family reunion!!

Prayers for you and Jaden. There is so much support out there...a real movement going on for advocates for autism. I have a close friend who has a son with autism, maybe you will find some stuff on her blog...
