A Fair is a Fair of a Smorgasbord! All Aboard!

So we decided to go to the state fair last Saturday. We had so much fun. I haven't been in a long time, but it was fun to see the kiddies' reactions to all the animals, foods, and creepy people. We ate a fried Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich which was actually quite good and a fried Snickers that was oh so yummy. Don't worry we shared them. Since it is only at fairs that you can get these foods, why not get some? Sorry, no pics of us pigging out.

HOLY COW!!!

Okay this bad boy of beef weighed 3,000 pounds. This picture does not do this bull justice as Jason was a good ways in front the cow. No elevators for this guy. For a cow I was impressed. That sounds funny. I'm not the cow but I was impressed by it.
At the state fair they had the little tykes "work" on the farm so they could have a feel what it was like to be a farmer. Here is Jaden scooping the corn up into the bucket to feed a fake cow.
Then he collects wool in his bucket after he shears a fake sheep.
Here is Jaden collecting eggs from a fake hen. Then he sold his products for fake money and bought some real crackers with it. He has such a blast and it was fun to watch him.

Jaden and I graduated from the FFA course.

Here is Brinn trying the tractor out for size. I think she is just the right size.

What a cute chicken.
Jaden's favorite thing at the state fair was the tetherballs they had set out for kids to play. He was there for a good 45 mins. He even missed the Bengal tiger show.

I had to include this pic of the following morning because Brinn looks so cute at our "kitchen table".
