Labor Day Weekend

So I'm trying to catch up with all that has been going on. Sorry for the lack of news and then a flood of new posts. For Labor Day weekend we decided to take the tykes to Grandma and Grandpa Rogers' cabin in Flagstaff. The drive there was a nightmare as Jaden screamed the whole way. We left at their bedtime hoping the kiddies would sleep, but nope, with Jaden screaming no one could sleep. With some caffeine and some earplugs we made it. Once we were there we had a blast.

We raided Grandma's cracker cabinet and visited the county fair. At the fair we looked at the farm animals, Jaden rode the merry-go-round, and we also ate fun fair food. The kids were plenty spoiled with hugs, kisses, and fun toys. Jason and I were even spoiled with a fun night out in Flagstaff with a great dinner.

The trip back home was a lot nicer. We drugged Jaden with some children's triaminic and left after he had fallen asleep in bed. So the drive was nice and quiet and pitch black.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Rogers for letting us come and play!
